Terre di Baccio was a wonderful surprise in Greve in Chianti. The room was spacious and comfortable. Although it was too cold to use, the outdoor pool and poolside bar looked great. There is also a nice small outdoor gym in which I worked …
Wow... just wow....
Stayed here for 2 nights for a friend's wedding. The place is amazing! The rooms were clean and spacious enough with all the modern furnishings. The food was so delicious. I couldn't believe how great everything tasted with minimal fresh ingredients.
The pasta cooking class was very fun. I will have to admit it was better than I expected. The chef was friendly and very funny. His passion for food was evident.
The staff were so friendly! Special shout out to the servers at breakfast!
Definitely will be back if ever in the area again!
If I could give this place a 10/5 I would. This was the most magical experience we had in Italy. We came during low season, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful, since booking our stay and trying to figure out public transportation, Krizia held our hand step by step (she’s super friendly too!). When we arrived Ines welcomed us & upgraded our room at no additional cost since it was low season. Then we made reservation for dinner and had the dinner room to ourselves with delicious food and even Marco played the piano for us, made it soo special, a core memory of our trip.
The next morning we went to have breakfast at the glass house and WOW! beautiful place, so peaceful and dreamy. Axhika welcomed us with the most delicious spread of food and still made us omelets and coffee to order. I’m still dreaming about her Tarta di Melle!! She was such a sweetheart. We also took a cooking class with chef Genty and WOW (I know wow again) but he was very knowledgeable and you can tell his passion for cooking. His pasta is the best we had in all Italy (that butter sage ravioli was to die for). To end our stay we had wine tasting with Ines, what a lady. She is super knowledgeable about wine and super funny! I loved her personality. Overall this was a beyond amazing stay and I would totally just comeback to Italy for this place and visit every single one of them.
THANK YOU AGAIN! 🤍
Terre di Baccio is the perfect place for a romantic and relaxing getaway in Tuscany. My husband and I were blown away by the beauty of this place, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the hotel (its …
One of the most beautiful places to stay while in Greve in Chianti.
Try a wine tasting, enjoy dinner at the restaurant, and have breakfast with alpacas in the mornings.
The staff are all outstanding and friendly. The food, wine and amenities were all highlights for us while we were in this area.
Overall this place is amazing. I’d love to have given it five stars but there were some hiccups with reception service and rooms that made this rating lower.
We were here in the heat of the summer (95-100° F) every day. Our room was spacious and very clean, but the bed was in the loft area. While there is a small AC and a ceiling fan it was UNBEARABLY hot in the loft, it made sleeping extremely uncomfortable and almost impossible. There was one small Dyson fan up there but it was not nearly enough for how hot it was.
Both my husband and I tried to speak to reception about this. We spoke to a woman named Olga, and she flat out refused to consider any accommodations, such as an extra fan or moving bed, etc. It was unfortunate because this interaction really soured our view.
I’d like to point out that all other staff at Terre di Baccio was incredibly accommodating and lovely. Alice, Marco, Ilaria, the woman at the pool bar (can’t remember her name), and everyone else we came into contact with was so wonderful.
We had high expectations of this place. It was intended to be a restful 6 days after 5 days in Florence and before 5 days in Rome.||We had booked a Manger room which in reality was a windowless, small room situated near a kitchen with …
A must when in Tuscany. Beautiful architecture, serene surroundings, amazing breakfast and an absolutely beautiful pool area. The staff were so lovely as well. Would definitely come back again.
